THE curtain came down on Walking Day
season in Warrington with Stretton Walking Day when Eleanor Daily 
(pictured right) was
crowned Rose Queen at St Matthew’s Church.
Special guests at the event were the Mayor and Mayoress of Warrington Coun Brian and Irina Axcell, who were welcomed by St Matthew’s vicar Elaine Chegwin Hall.
Following the walk a fete took place on St Matthew’s Church school playing fields.
