Wolves stay tight lipped on Tickle talk

HULL FC Coach Richard Agar has slammed reports linking former Wigan goal kicking ace Danny Tickle with a shock move to Warrington Wolves.
Meanwhile Warrington are refusing to confirm or deny whether they have signed Tickle on a two-year deal.
Tickle, 26, has scored in every one of Hull’s games this season, chalking up 61 goals.
He is currently under contract at Hull until the end of the 2010 season after agreeing a two year deal at the end of last season.
If the former Wigan and Halifax star switched to Wolves for next season it would represent a massive coup for Warrington boss Tony Smith who is also is believed to have an eye on Brisbane’s Australia Test full-back Darren Lockyer as owner Simon Moran looks to invest to take the club to the higher reaches of Super League after another disappointing season so far during 2009.
Warrington will be pinning their hopes on Challenge Cup glory to salvage their season but with semi-final opponents Wigan on a run of four victories and Warrington in the midst of a bad patch and a growing injury list, it looks like being another disappointing season at the Halliwell Jones.
