Climbing wall unveiled

A NEW climbing wall has been unveiled at Lymm Leisure Centre.
Lymm Climbing Club was awarded a national lottery grant towards the wall and also received funding from Lymm and Grappenhall and Thelwall parish councils and Lymm Round Table.
The club then worked with the high school and the leisure centre to provide the facility.
Club founder Raymond Chan said: “This a fantastic opportunity for people in the local community to get a real taste of climbing. For climbers, this is a great training venue and is a positive enhancement of the leisure facilities. However, this is only the start of our development and the club aims to continue fundraising and improving this wall.”
The climbing wall is open to the public.
