Samaritans campaign
THE Warrington, Halton and St Helens branch of the Samaritans will be on the streets of town centre Warrington tonight (Friday) from 10pm giving out information about their services and handing out sticks of rock for “when life sucks”

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 2, 5, 7 and 16. The jackpot prize of £220 went unclaimed and will be rolled over to next week. A £25 consolation prize went to a hospital visitor.

Boot sale
A CAR boot sale is being held at the Tetley Walker Club in Long Lane, Warrington, on Sunday to raise money for the annual Lourdes Pilgrimage by members of St Stephen’s RC Church.

Summer fair
TOMORROW, Saturday, will see the annual summer fair at Meadow View care home in Finlay Avenue, Penketh, Warrington. Starting at 2pm, there will be stalls and refreshments.

Music festival
SIR Thomas Boteler High School, Latchford, Warrington is hosting Boteler Out Loud today (Friday) – a celebration of music by pupils and the wider local community. The show gets under way at 12 noon and continues until 8pm.
