Firm's golfers raise £5,000

A WARRINGTON firm has helped raise almost £5,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society after taking part in charity golf event.
A team of nine golfers from ESR Technology, an engineering, safety and risk management consultancy, took part in the event at the Hart Common Golf Club in Westhoughton.
The company was the main sponsor, and other funds were raised by entrance fees, donations and a raffle.
Dr John Beard, one of ESR Technology’s principal engineering consultants, said: “With the event now in its third year, a record number of golfers helped to raise our largest donation yet for the MS Society.
