Police in appeal to fugitive

POLICE have appealed to fugitive businessman Ian Griffin, wanted for questioning in connection with the death of his girlfriend in Paris, to give himself up.
Griffin’s parents live in Warrington – and his black Porsche 911 was discovered outside a house in the borough over the weekend..
This leaves police to believe the 39-year-old may be in the area.
His Polish girlfriend, Kinga Legg, aged 36, was found beaten to death at a luxury hotel in Paris last Tuesday.
Mr Griffin, aged 39, is known to have visited Ms Legg at the hotel in Paris and to have been seen driving away later, in the Porsche.
Cheshire Police officers have been stationed outside Mr Griffin’s home at Houghton Green over the weekend.
But police stress they are merely assisting French police who are in charge of the murder inquiry.
However, they have interviewed a number of people in the Warrington area who are associated with Mr Griffin.
His parents claim they have had no contact with their son for several years.
