Pedal cyclist in hospital after crash

POLICE at Warrington are seeking witnesses of a road accident in which an elderly pedal cyclist suffered head injuries.
The incident involved a VW Beetle car and a cycle ridden by a 71-year-old man in Knusford Road, Latchford, close to the junction with Grange Avenue.
It took place at about 10.10am yesterday (Wednesday).
The 31-year-old woman driver was unhurt but the pedal cyclist was taken to hospital.
