Woman driver overturns car

FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington put their first aid skills to use when they arrived at the scene of a road accident before paramedics.
A Ford Fiesta overturned in Warrington Road, Penketh, at its junction with Sandy Lane around 11.30pm last night.
The woman driver managed to crawl from the damaged vehicle but was in great pain when fire crews reached the scene.
They comforted her and gave her oxygen until an ambulance crew arrived.
The woman was taken to hospital but was not thought to have serious injuries.
No other vehicle was involved in the incident. The Fiesta ended up on its side in the mouth of Sandy Lane.
