Community Day
CHARITY and voluntary groups will be flagging up their activities at Culcheth Community Day on the village green on Bank Holiday Monday. Events start at 10am.
Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 6, 8, 10 and 16 – and one lucky winner collected the £136 jackpot prize. A consolation prize of £25 was won by a member of hospital staff.
Shoppers’ rest
A SHOPPERS’ coffee morning is being held at Latchford Methodist Church, Thelwall Lane today (Saturday) to give weary shoppers laden with heavy bags an opportunity for a refreshing break.
Church barbecue
A VILLAGE barbecue is being held at All Saints’ Church, Thelwall at Thelwall Parish Hall on Saturday, May 9. The 4pm event includes children’s entertainment, quizzes, puppets and sing-songs.
Annual meeting
THE annual general meeting of Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council takes place on Tuesday, May 5 – two weeks earlier than usual. It starts at 7.30pm at the Jackson Avenue Day Centre.
