THREE masked men – one brandishing a knife – have carried out a robbery at a Warrington corner shop.
The raid was at Bargain Booze in Marsh House Lane late last night (Monday).
One of the offenders kept watch outside as the other two entered the shop, threatened the staff and demanded cash.
One was carrying a knife.
Two women shop assistants, one aged 19 and the other 41, were unhurt but were badly shaken by the incident. There were no customers in the shop at the time.
The offenders got away with a three figure sum of cash from the till and a quantity of cigarettes.
It is not known in which direction they left, nor whether they had a vehicle.
All three were in their mid-to-late teens, dressed all in black and were wearing balaclavas.
Anyone who witnessed the raid at about 10.30pm last night is asked to contact DC James Thompson at Warrington CID on 01244 615859 or call the anonymous Crimestoppers line 0800 555 111.
