Raiders grab cash from hotel

TWO men have got away with a four-figure sum after threatening a member of staff at a Warrington hotel.
The 4am robbery was at The Fir Grove Hotel, in Knutsford Old Road, Grappenhall.
The offenders forced the lone member of staff to open a safe and hand over the cash. No weapons were used and the man, aged 33 and from the local area, was not hurt. But he was left badly shocked.
The first offender was about 5ft 10 inches tall, of stocky build and was wearing a distinctive jacket.
His accomplice was about the same height, of medium build and was wearing light blue jeans, a black belt, grey trainers and a dark jacket with a navy blue, hooded sweat shirt underneath.
One of the men spoke with a Manchester accent.
Police are seeking help from the public and would like to hear from anyone who has information about the raid, which was on Tuesday morning.
