Theatre group to hold auditions

THEATRE group Spotlight Performing Arts have chosen Hot Mikado – a re-vamped version of the Gilbert and Sullivan classic designed to appeal to younger audiences – for their next production.
The group, which last year stepped up from the local church hall to present Godspell at Lowton Civic Hall, is looking to recruit new members and will be holding auditions on Thursday, April 16.
Godspell was a sell-out success so the group is hoping to take another big step forward.
They are looking for actors, singers and dancers as well as people wanting tow work behind the scenes on set design, lighting, costumes, etc.
The auditions will take place at Wigan Road Methodist Church, Leigh between 6pm and 10pm.
Hot Mikado will be staged at Lowton Civic Hall on September 16-18.
