A COMEDIAN who holds the Guinness World Record for attending the most number of political demonstrations in 24 Hours is coming to Warrington.
Award-winning comedian and political activist Mark Thomas will be at the Parr Hall on Friday May 1 with his new show “It’s the Stupid Economy.”
During the show Mark considers the damage to the economy and the environment and creates a People’s Manifesto for the future.
Each audience gets to nominate its favourite ideas to make Britain a better place and decide a policy for the manifesto, which Mark examines and tries to make a reality. Ideas have included helping bankers to experience destitution and setting a maximum wage.
During his 23-year career Mark has had his own shows on Channel 4, numerous documentaries, two books published and been a political activist tackling issues such as abuses of civil liberties and corporate skulduggery.
