Police name death-crash couple

THE elderly couple killed in a three-car crash on the M6 near Warrington on Tuesday night have been named.
They were Emlyn Coulson, aged 86 and his wife, Dorothy, aged 83, from Hawarden, on Deeside.
The couple were killed when their vehicle, a silver Peugeot van, was involved in a collision with two BMW cars on the southbound carriageway of the motorway on the Lymm side of Thelwall Viaduct.
A 61-year-old woman from Knutsford, who was driving on of the BMWs, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A 51-year-old man

from Lanarkshire who was in the other BMW was treated in Warrington Hospital after the crash after complaining of chest pains.
The

crash occurred shortly after 9pm
Police have appealed for witnesses of the crash, which closed the southbound carriageway for six hours.
