Teenager killed in road crash

POLICE have revealed that a teenager involved in a road accident near Warrington nearly a week ago died at the scene.
The crash, in Clay Lane, Burtonwood, occurred at about 11.30pm on April l and was reported by Warrington-Worldwide the following morning.
But police did not reveal that 17-year-old Jamie Livesey, of Newton-le-Willow had died at the scene.
The car in which he was travelling, a blue Vauxhall Corsa, plunged off the road and ended up on its roof in a field and in flames.
Fire crews were called to the scene but the car was completely burned out.
Since then, four people, also from Newton-le-Willows, have been arrested and questioned in connection with the tragic crash.
Police are appealing for witnesses – in particular anyone who saw the blue Corsa or another, red, Vauxhall Corsa, in the area
