What credit crunch?
AT the annual general meeting of Fairfield, Howley and Latchford Credit Union, Warrington, it was unanimously agreed to pay a five per cent dividend for the second year running. Anyone interested in joining should call the office on 01925 656968.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 7, 8, 13 and 15. The jackpot prize went unclaimed and will be rolled-over to next week. A consolation prize of £25 was awarded to a member of the hospital staff.

Book sale
A BOOK sale is being held at Stockton Heath Methodist Church today (Saturday) to raise funds for the redevelopment of the church. The sale starts at 10.30am in the church hall on Walton Road.

Craft fair
JEWELLERY, candles, and other items made by local craft enthusiasts will be on sale at Fearnhead Cross Centre, Insall Road today (Saturday) from llam.

Car repairs
THE Mainland Bodycare Centre, in Manchester Road, Warrington, has been appointed an authorised repaired for Peugeot cars following local dealer Hall Motors going into administration in January.

Pub meeting
HATTON Parish Council will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, March 23 in the Hatton Arms pub.

Hotel revamp
A CONTROVERSIAL plan to revamp the historic Lymm Hotel will go on show to the public in the hotel from Monday, March 23.
