Pub raider grabs cash

POLICE are hunting a man who forced his way into a Warrington pub at close time, threatened a member of staff and got away with cash from the till.
The robbery was at Chevvie’s Bar, in Manchester Road, close to Warrington Cemetery last night (Sunday).
The assistant manager at the pub was locking up at closing time when he was approached by a man who pressed a sharp object against his back, threatened him and demanded cash.
The 21-year-old assistant manager was forced into the pub and made to hand over money from the till.
The offender then made off with the cash.
Police said he was about 6ft tall, well built and was wearing a jogging suit, with his face covered.
