Busy road to be closed

TRAFFIC will be temporarily banned from a busy canal-side road while work is carried out on installation of a new 500mm water main.
Work will start in Ellesmere Road, Stockton Heath on Monday, March 23 and will be carried out in four phases to minimise disruption.
An order has been made by the borough council to allow the temporary closures between the junctions with Walton Heath Road and London Road.
It is expected the work will last for about 12 weeks during which an alternative route will be signposted via the A56 Walton Road and the A49 London Road.
