NHS stars to be recognised

THE “stars” from Warrington NHS will be recognised at a special gala dinner on March 20.
Health bosses at Warrington have launched the first local NHS Star Awards to recognise the hard work and dedication of staff. It aims to reward excellent

practice, innovative working and outstanding performance.
A spokesman said: “Staff constantly give their time and care but often there is little time within our busy schedules to acknowledge and thank staff for this dedication and commitment.”
Nominations are being sought for the awards for individual staff members or teams, including those who work in the support services such as clinic clerks, receptionists, porters or the finance team. Staff, patients, carers and other stakeholders can all make nominations.
Plans are to make the awards an annual event.
A range of awards is on offer to recognise quality services, patient and staff experience, organisational efficiency and individual achievements.
Entries should be submitted by Friday February 27 via the website www.warrington-pct.nhs.uk
