SPRAY paint vandals could stand in the way of Stockton Heath’s Alexandra Park winning Green Flag status.
Police are to investigate the problem of graffiti in the park after hearing complaints from members of the parish council.
A recent target for the spray paint “artists” has been the bowls hut. Someone had sprayed the word “Badger” on it, said Coun Celia Jordan.
Coun Graham Roughsedge said the borough council was trying to get Green Flag status for the park.
“Graffiti would be a problem” he said.
