Take notice
A NEW notice board is to be provided by Stockton Heath Parish Council at Ackers Pit. It will be sited on the Mill Lane footpath, replacing one at Pilling Gardens which is in a poor state of repair. Warrington Anglers Association, which uses the pit, will be asked if it wants to share the £656 cost and use of the new board.

Loving hands
A NEW group calling itself “Loving Hands” is to knit for various charities at Lymm Methodist Church on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, starting from February 26. Details from 01925 753653.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 4, 11, 12 and 13 – but there were no winners. The jackpot prize will be rolled over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was awarded.

Flower power
FLOWER displays costing £3,670 will be provided in the village by Stockton Heath Parish Council this year. The money will be used to provide winter and summer hanging baskets and planters, and allow for regular watering and care.

Ambulance donation
LYMM Parish Council has agreed to give a £100 donation to the North West Air Ambulance.
