Bar told to cut noise levels

A LATE night bar has been told it must cut noise levels.
Noise abatement controls are being introduced at the Viper Lounge, in Stockton Heath, Warrington, following complaints about late night noise.
Members of Stockton Heath Parish Council heard an inhibitor would cut off the music, if it exceeded a level set by Warrington Borough Council.
The restrictions would also mean the balcony area could not be used after 8pm, until noise-reduction methods had been introduced.
