Mystery man attacked by gang

POLICE at Warrington are anxious to talk to a mystery man who was seen being attacked by a gang of men – but never reported the incident.
The attack took place in Wilderspool Causeway, close to the Arc car wash at the side of an Esso petrol station yesterday (Tuesday) at about 5pm.
Passersby saw the group of men attacking the lone man and shortly afterwards a dark coloured Audi A3 car was seen to drive away from the area.
The attack was never reported so police want to speak to the victim.
They would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly a man seen filming it on his mobile ‘phone.
The victim is believed to have suffered injuries in the attack.
Anyone who can help is asked to call police on 0845 458 0000 or, alternatively, call the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
Two men, aged 24 and 34, have been arrested in connection with the incident and are being questioned by police.

  1. Perhaps the man did not report it because he knew Cheshire Police wouldn’t be interested? However, as others have witnessed the incident Cheshire Police would not want any bad PR so of course they are encouraging him to report it. No doubt it will be treated with the same priority as the case of the harmless man growing canabis for personal use (not)

Hope the guy is OK anyway.
