Drugs warning following car theft

POLICE have issued a warning following the theft of a car at Warrington today.
A large quantity of prescription drugs were in the car, stolen from Froghall Lane – some of which could prove fatal if taken inappropriately.
The drugs including painkillers, bloodpressure tablets, angina tablets, iron tablets and laxatives, stomach medicines, liquid gell for the eyes, etc.
A police spokesman said anyone being offered prescription drugs should report the matter immediately to police.
