Fire crews were called to the scene at 12.30am and found the car well alight.
They used a hosereel to tackle the outbreak.

In a separate incident, firefighters broke into a yard at Willis Motors in Battersby Lane, Warrington when a van caught fire on the back of a low loader.
They managed to extinguish the blaze before any damage was caused to the low loader.
A Fire Service spokesman said it appeared the van had been brought into the yard after breaking down and had been left on the low loader overnight.
It was believed an electrical fault on the van caused the fire.
