Mystery man dies in hospital

A MYSTERY man found lying unconscious in a field near Warrington last week has died in hospital.
Police now know who the man was but have revealed only that he was a 41-year-old from the Widnes area.
He was found lying in a field near the Fiddler’s Ferry Power Station on Tuesday, January 13 and was taken to Warrington Hospital in a critical condition.
Doctors have battled to save him – but without success.
Police say it is understood the man died of natural causes and that there were no suspicious circumstances.
But it remains a mystery why he was in the field.

they would still like to hear from anyone who thinks they can help with information about the man’s last hours.
