School outstanding a second time

LYMM High School has been judged “outstanding” by Ofsted inspectors – for the second time.
The school was inspected in December and inspectors reported it was outstanding because its excellent curriculum meets individual needs and because of the support students receive to enable them to succeed.
Inspectors also said the school offers students an exceptionally wide range of options and opportunities and that the breadth of enrichment activities is “astounding”.
Teaching and learning in the sixth form is described as “outstanding.”
New headteacher Miss Angela Walsh, was commended for her “clear vision” in maintaining the school’s excellent standards.
She said: “I feel privileged to have joined this exceptional school, and our fantastic inspection results are thanks to the hard work and commitment of students, staff and parents.
“We are so proud of our students and we are now looking forward to extending our outstanding teaching and learning practices.”
