Missing drugs alert

POLICE today issued a warning after a bottle containing a potentially dangerous drug was lost in the Warrington area.
The drug – the heroin substitute methadone – was lost between 3pm and 4.30pm yesterday (Thursday) somewhere between the Warrington Drug Centre at Orford and Thames Close, Orford.
It is in liquid form and is in a 30ml plastic bottle.
Police warned that the drug could prove taken if taken other than by prescription, particularly if taken by children.
Anyone who finds the missing drug is asked to take it to a clinic or police station.
