THE occupiers of a flat escaped unhurt early today when fire broke out in a bedroom.
A discarded cigarette is believed to have started the blaze at a flat in Northway, Lymm.
Fire crews from Warrington and Stockton Heath dealt with the blaze, with two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entering the premises.
The fire was reported a few minutes after midnight.
