Dog rescue drama

FIREMEN rescued a dog which had been missing from home for two days from drowning in Latchford Locks, Warrington, last night.
Members of the public alerted emergency services after spotting the small black mongrel dog struggling in the water at the locks.
Firemen used a line to rescue to frightened animal which was wearing a collar and easily re-united with its owners who lived two miles from the scene on Gainsborough Road.
