STOCKTON Heath Parish Council has given £280 to subsidise bus travel for late night revellers over the festive season.
Money will go towards marshals and loaders for a Christmas bus service operating between Stockton Heath and Warrington town centre.
The parish council agreed to help fund the service, which operates until the early hours, for seven nights over the season. Passengers using the service pay £2 per journey, and £3 on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
