Celebration of weight loss

SUCCESSFUL slimmers from independent slimming clubs across the North West attended a weight loss celebration in Yorkshire – including a party from a Warrington club.
National Independent Slimming Clubs advocates losing weight through healthy eating and lifestyle change and links together clubs across the UK who share that ethos.
Losing weight and maintaining that weight loss can be difficult but all the finalists attending had shown particular dedication and motivation about changing their weight and improving their health.
The total weight lost from those attending was over 45 stone.
Georgia Nunney, from independent club Nothing to Hide from Warrington said.
“The atmosphere was fantastic. All the successful slimmers have worked very hard to lose their weight and it was great to be able to celebrate that success. We heard all their stories about how they achieved their weight loss and each slimmer was presented with a glass trophy, framed photo and certificate to mark their achievement.”
The local slimmers were (left to right) : Karron Matthews (lost 28lb); Dorothy Gates (lost 21lb);
June Jarvis 9lost 55lb); Tracey Lagar (lost 341/2lb); Sandra Chorlton (lost 21lb);
