CVS launches two new projects

TWO new projects have been lunched by Warrington Council for Voluntary Services at its office in the Gateway – involving the appointment of new key staff.
Rob Brown, has been appointed neighbourhood enterprise coach for Warrington and Dida Goode is the new carers and service users’ group co-ordinator.
Rob, who has a range of experience in community development, is part of a new project for Cheshire and Warrington employing seven coaches. In Warrington he joins Geoff Kirkham, based on Orford.
The coaches aim to identify and encourage social enterprise and new business in areas where growth is low, and to assist existing business.

Dida, whose post has been commissioned by Warrington Borough Council, aims to co-ordinate, develop and support substance misuse service users and carers’ involvement in the town.
Her work will involve supporting existing groups, developing a forum for service users and carers and providing a link with statutory groups and other service providers in Warrington.
