A STOLEN mini-bus was destroyed by fire after being dumped by the thieves.
The vehicle was abandoned on the Phipps Lane industrial estate at Burtonwood, near Warrington at about 8pm last night (Tuesday).
Fire crews were called to the scene but were unable to save the vehicle which was completely burned out.
A Fire Service spokesman said: “It seemed pretty clear the fire had been started deliberately.”
Police are investigating.
