JUST one thing detracts from the beauty of hanging baskets in Stockton Heath’s Forge shopping centre – people keep banging their heads on them!
The Parish Council decided to write to the shopping centre asking them to relocate the baskets which hang at the sides of the walkway.
Coun Celia Jordan said: “The hanging baskets look nice, but they are dangerous as people bang their heads.”
She suggested they should be moved to the apex of the roof above the walkway where there was adequate space.
“The baskets would look nice there – and it would stop people banging their heads,” she said.
JUST one thing detracts from the beauty of hanging baskets in a shopping centre - people keep banging their heads on them!
