Toilets campaign moves forward

THE campaign to get toilets back in Stockton Heath village has moved a step forward.
Coun Stephen Taylor suggested to Stockton Heath Parish Council that a working party be set up to look at the problem.
He suggested parish councillors, members of the public and traders work together to get public toilets in the village.
Members and residents have been campaigning for some time to get public toilets in the village – since the toilets in the Forge car park were closed after reports of “unsavoury activity” in the gents.
Members agreed to form the group and Coun Taylor will schedule the first meeting.
