Traffic held up after motorway crash

MOTORISTS have been warned to expect hold-ups on the motorway network near Warrington this morning following a crash involving three heavy lorries.
The crash is said to have been on the northbound carriageway of the M6 on its junction with the M62 at about 9.15am.
Two lanes have been closed and police say there are hold-ups and slow-moving traffic.
Diversions are in place but drivers are advised to try and avoid the area.
No details of possible casualties have been released
