YOUNGSTERS from the newly formed under 12’s girl’s football team at Culcheth Athletic will soon have a smart new kit thanks to a local business.
Through the Kits for Schools organisation, forget-me-not toy and book shop, at the CPS Centre, has been able to sponsor the team.
The shop is owned by sisters-in-law Naomi Simpson and Victoria Simpson-Forrest.
Naomi said: “When we were approached by Kits for Schools to sponsor a local team we were delighted to be able to help. We were unaware that there were so many young teams in need of sponsorship and we would like to encourage other local businesses to get involved if they can.
“Kits for Schools have been very easy to work with and the new team is thrilled with their new football kit. We have been invited to their games and we very much wish them well for the season.”
The new kit is currently being produced and will soon be presented to the team.
