CHRISTMAS around the world is the theme of a festival to be held in Culcheth from December 12 to 14.
The third annual Christmas Tree and Crib Festival will be held at Newchurch Parish Church in Culcheth.
Exhibitors are currently working on ideas for the theme and the organisers expect a range of interesting trees.
During the past two years the festival has raised more than £800
towards the YMCA at Christmas Appeal. The chosen charity this year is
the Salvation Army.
As part of the festival there will be a brass band concert in the
church on Friday December 12 at 7.30pm. Admission is £5 including a
mince pie and mulled wine, and tickets are available from church.
Choirs from the three local primary schools will be singing during the day on the Friday.
