Petrol bomb attack on car

POLICE are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a car parked in the street at Warrington.
The attack took place in Salisbury Street, Warrington early today.
A petrol bomb was thrown through the window of the car, starting a fire on the driver’s seat.
Fire crews rushed to the scene and managed to control the blaze, restricting the most severe damage to the interior.
No other property was damaged.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident which was at about 1.40am. Anyone who can help should call 0845 458 0000.
