A FAMILY was forced to flee their home during the night after a fault on a gas boiler filled the house with smoke.
The occupants of the house in Oaklands Street, Bruche, Warrington were safely in the street by the time fire crews reached the scene.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus discovered a fire involving a motor in the boilet, disconnected it and isolated it from the gas supply and used a ventilation unit to clear the property of smoke.
No-one was serious affected by the smoke.
