A TOWN centre street is to be closed for approximately five hours – to allow contractors to lift a crane on to the roof of a nearby building.
Buttermarket Street is expected to be closed to traffic from 5am until 10am on Sunday, November 2 between its junctions with Scotland Road and Orford Street.
The crane will be lifted onto the roof of New Town House.
An alternative route for eastbound traffic will be via Academy Street, Mersey Street and Dial Street while westbound traffic will be diverted via Fennel Street, Brick Street, Lythgoes Lane, Pinners Brow, Winwick Street and Scotland Road.
