Celebrities line-up for star studded soccer match

MORE celebrities are lining up to join a host of stars as part of a special celebrity football match to raise funds for two Warrington charities this Sunday, October 5.
Stars from Channel 4’s Hollyoaks football team are taking to the field against a Warrington Town Select XI to raise much needed funds for Warrington Disability Partnership and SPARC at Cantilever Park, the home of Warrington Town Football Club.
Ireland’s very own X-factor finalist Jason Ryan (pictured right) is now flying in especially to entertain a VIP audience while Jason Godwin (left) – star of the 60 minute make over show (ITV) will be playing in the Warrington Town Select XI alongside Big Brother winner Craig Phillips.
Jason’s career spans 15 years in the building and house design trade, during which time he has worked on a raft of large-scale interiors projects for an array of celebrity clients.
He set up his own building and design company Ten Thousand Rooms five years ago and first hit the screens as the celebrity builder on popular Living TV show Jade’s Salon, where he project-managed the conversion of a bank building in Hertford town centre into the trendy environment that was to be the Salon.
Meanwhile entertainer Jason beat 20,000 contestants to go through to the final 10 of RTV’s live television show ‘You’re a Star.’
Now a star in his own right and touring throughout Europe, Jason will do a number of sets before and after the game, including a section of his successful stage show ‘Donny’ in which he headlined the show.
Louise Wash and Kerry Katona, judges on the television show, both said that Jason had the ability to become one of Ireland’s biggest stars. He was on the same bill as Daniel O’Donnell at the famous Talk of the Town, Tenerife, Jason is going to WOW the audience in Warrington. Further information can be found at www.donnytribute.co.uk
Event organiser Tony Murray said: “This fantastic afternoon of grass roots football is for all the family as the guys from Hollyoaks take on a select XI from Warrington Town. Leading the Hollyoaks team is Nick Pickard,
alias Tony Hutchison, whilst Craig Philips, winner of the first C4 Big Brother, will lead the home team out.”
Gates open from 1.00 pm with activities within the ground leading up to a 2.30 pm kick off.
Those purchasing VIP – Corporate tickets will enter via a VIP access into the corporate lounge where a complimentary buffet will be served. A licenced bar is available and the price includes match tickets.
Following the game guests will meet the players and enjoy some quality entertainment. An auction and raffle will also be held to raise funds for the charities.
