Turf-cutting ceremony at school

MAYOR of Warrington Coun Graham Welborn, will perform the ceremony of cutting the first turf before construction work begins on the new £28.5 million Culcheth High School.
The ceremony will take place at 2pm on Friday, October 17.
Construction work will start on November 10 and is due to be completely by April 2010.
The existing school will be almost completely demolished and replaced with a new, state-of-the-art school and multi-use all weather sports facilities which will be shared with the local community.
