Clinic to stage charity evening

A CHARITY evening to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month is being held at The Cross Clinic, Lymm on Wednesday, October 15.
Thirty-minute taster sessions for the various therapies available at the clinic will be available to raise money for The Genesis Appeal – the UK’s only charity entirely dedicated to preventing breast cancer.
Visitors will be able to try Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Bowden Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Massage, Indian Head Massage, etc.
None of the therapists will be charging for their time, but visitors will be asked for a modest £5 donation to Genesis.
Fund-raising by Genesis has already helped build Europe’s first purpose-built breast cancer prevention centre, based at Wythenshawe Hospital.
More details about Genesis can be obtained from the charity’s website, www.genesisuk.co.uk
Taster sessions at The Cross Clinic will be between 6-9pm and can be booked by calling 01925-757513.
