Tenants invited to air their views

TENANTS and leaseholders of Warrington’s 10,000 council homes are being invited to a conference on the future of housing services in the borough.
The event, at The Gateway, in Sankey Street on Thursday, September 18 will give tenants of Golden Gates Housing – the council’s housing management organisation – a chance to air their views on the review of council homes currently being carried out.
Tenants’ out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed, including child care, and refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Free energy efficient light bulbs are available to all attendees and there are free prize draws throughout the day, with prizes up for grabs including shopping vouchers, a DVD player and a digital freeview box.
The event follows on from the success of an earlier tenants’ conference in July.
Anyone who wants to book a place should call Helen Catterson or Vikki Jones on freephone 0800 952 9942 or email Helen on [email protected] or Vikki on [email protected]
Further information on the housing options appraisal and information from the first tenants’ conference can be found on the council’s website: www.warrington.gov.uk/housing/councilhousing/hoa/aspx.
