Poets looking for audiences

0

TWO performance poets from Warrington are looking for schools and organisations where they can perform their work during the autumn.
Kate McGann and Helên Thomas are well-known in the area for performance poetry with children and will be marking National Poetry Day on October 9.
The two women perform as Penelope Page and Gabby Mouth, two larger than life characters who have very different ideas about poetry.
They use poems, songs, riddles, wordplay and audience participation to look at poets and poetry. They have performed their popular show in many local schools.
Anyone interested in finding out more about their work can contact Helên Thomas on: 01925 752611 or E-mail [email protected]
