Houses would be 'overbearing'

AN application to build six two and half storey houses on land in a Warrington village would be “overbearing” according to a local councillor.
Coun Sheila Woodyatt is opposing plans for land at Lymm Service Station, Booths Hill Road, Lymm.
She says the height of the houses would have an adverse impact and be out of character with the area.
But planners say the outline application is the same as one previously approved for the site and the development is acceptable in the area. They are recommending approval when the application goes before Warrington’s development control committee on Wednesday September 3.
