THE Warrington Wolves Foundation has launched a brand new website, www.Wire2Wolves.com providing a fascinating insight into the history of the club.
Funded by the Co-op, the website gives fans the chance to learn about the history of the club and the town.
Fans can add their own memories to the website, making it a truly interactive affair.
Steven Broomhead, Warrington’s Deputy Chairman, officially launched the site along with Wolves Foundation Chairman, Terry O’Neill. Other invited guests at the launch included former Wire stars, Laurie Gilfedder, Joe Whitaker, Fred Higginbottom, Alistair Brindle, Bob Eccles, Mike Kelly, John Lowe and Wilf and Barry Briggs.
Commenting on the Launch of the website, Foundation Director, Neil Kelly said: “The website represents a great opportunity to bring together generations of support and save memories that live with everyone, by logging on or dropping information into the Foundation, we will keep the heritage of our club and town fresh in peoples minds.”
