Running repairs at cycle museum

WALTON Hall Gardens’ bike museum proved to the one stop shop for repairs when 10 members of the National Autocycle and Cyclemotor Club dropped in to fix their vehicles.
Museum curator Paul Adams provided help and facilities for running repairs to their machines during an epic Lands End to John ‘o’ Groats journey.
Emergency work taking four hours was needed to one of the machines, which involved repairing spokes that were constantly breaking.
The group then made their way from Walton on to Preston for an overnight stay before pushing on with their journey to Scotland.
They are expected to finish the challenge on August 19.
The National Autocycle and Cyclemotor Club was formed in 1981 and has since grown to attract members from all over the British Isles.
Membership is open to anyone interested in autocycles, cyclemotors, electric cycles and mopeds.
